Wolf Attack

A week ago Wednesday (February 25) the owner of a yellow Lab fought off a pack of 9 wolves - barehanded no less - who were killing his dog, Charlie. He had let Charlie out for a bit and then when he went outside, found the wolves attacking his dog.

Jim Palmer said, “I ran into the middle of ‘em and literally yanked the dog out of his mouth. One wolf was doing most of the damage. When I ran through them, they were totally fearless. They weren’t worried about me a bit which made me realize maybe that wasn’t a good idea.”

“They say that a wolf won’t take a human. I don’t believe that. I don’t think there’s anything stopping a wolf from eating my 60 pound child. If he’ll take my 90 pound dog, he’ll take my 60 pound child,” said Karinda Fisher.

Charlie underwent surgery and received a number of stitches, and by all accounts is just about back to normal.
