I was wondering if any out there wanted to give another hunter advice about where to hunt in Colorado. I'm a local in Denver and want to go someplace, to hunt elk. Any recomendations?

Well, I assume you only have an over the counter tag, which limits you away from any selected/limited areas. The following questions would help anyone who gives you advice. How old are you and how good of physical shape are you in? Do you want to pack in, horse in, car in to camp? What size elk, rag horn or trophy would you be happy with? What season do you plan on going in? (That makes a big difference) Doug Miler Golden, CO

I might suggest area 62 which is near Montrose and Delta.
