Fox urine creates a scenario where Rabbits, Squirrels, Skunks, Chipmunks & other varmints fully believe that a dangerous fox is in the area. This illusion is triggered by the powerful scent of pure fox urine and all that it communicates to animals in the wild. By liberally marking an area with fox pee, you duplicate the territorial marking habits of foxes in the wild. Acting on instinct, these prey will avoid the area protected by fox pee.

Dogs react to the illusion of canine territorial encroachment and will instinctively respond by marking over wherever fox pee has been applied in worst case scenario they will attack the object or person that was sprayed whit fox pee.

This is what happened to Kim, she sprayed her boots with fox urine  Before she entered the woods afterward when she got home she was attacked by her neighbor’s dog.

I got the bottle of fox urine out and read the back; it reads:  WARNING - do not spray on clothing or body as you may be attacked.   I take hunting safety very seriously and thought I was over careful. A few stitches, antibiotics and tetanus shot later, I will read all scent bottles and take their warning seriously!
