What has your experience been with this? I live in North Texas and am considering purchasing this permit. Any experience with the dove hunting lands near Sanger or Denton, TX?

My in-laws live in Justin (bet you know where that is...). I've had one of my best dove hunts on a TPWD APH property just west of Denton about 3 years ago. I've also had days where it was 113 degrees and I only got 2 birds (but then, that's dove hunting, isn't it?).
Generally speaking, those properties can be VERY good in that area for doves. I've never hunted up there past opening weekend, but I suspect the crowds are MUCH reduced .. making the hunting more enjoyable. For $50, it is definately worth trying out.
