Does anyone know of a synthetic camo stock made for a Remington 700? I ordered the Bell and Carlson, but when I got it, the screws in the box were too short, and I could't mount the rifle to the stock. The box had a note in it that said that if the screws were too short, they would, for a fee, send new ones. Anyone priced a Bell & Carlson stock lately? For what they cost you'd think that they would put enough screws in the box to make stock fit properly. And, if they knew in advance that it would be a problem (the enclosed note indicates this), then they are either non-hunters, or don't care much about customer service. I sent the stock back. I could have ordered the screws, but anger and principle got the better of me. Enough of that, if anyone knows of any company OTHER than Bell & Carlson, please reply to either the group, or me personally

Thank you

David, I've been very pleased with the performance of the H-S Precision stocks on my M700's. My hunting buddies have used several more on their M700's and an M600 with similar satisfaction. If you order direct from the factory they give you several paint schemes to choose from and will finish the stock to the LOP of your choosing. Mine were bought through a mail order house, but when I sent them back to Rapid City to have extra sling swivels installed - so that I could use the Ching Sling - prices were fair and the turnaround quick. Give one a try. Good hunting! Michael
