hi, i have a 12 guage pump 'defender' shotgun. When i cycle rounds through it it seems to jam the odd time......this happens when i shoot 3' mags or 2 3/4 slugs. Is this a common problem or should i bring the gun into a gunsmith?......It doesn't seem to matter what brand of slugs i shoot.. thanks for all replies. larry

Either something is wrong with the shotgun, or you are short shucking. I suspect you are short shucking. The next time you go shooting, take particular care to pull the forearm all the way back against the stop before closing it again. If the problem still occurs, take it to a
