I am trying to locate a shooting / hunting club in the Macomb / St. Clair County Michigan Area. Since their are no public ranges in my area with a 100 - 200 yard range I will try to join a private club. I live in the Algonac MI. area. I have tried contacting two clubs in my immediate area and have not had any return calls. Any info or contact names and phone numbers would be greatly appreciated.

If the clubs you called are the usual ones then they are run by overworked volunteers. Sometimes it can take up to two weeks before a message gets shuffled off to the right person.

In the meantime, check with the Michigan United Conservation Clubs. Their phone number at the Lansing headquarters is 1-517-371-1041. Ask for any clubs in the area you are interested in.
