I make my own, using old jean pant legs and zip lock bags. I use sandblasting sand because I know there is no moisture in it, and fill the Zip lock bags so they hold shape, but can be formed. (weigh about 10 pounds) Then I put it in the jean leg and sew up both ends. I also do the same thing with soybeans because it saves on weight.

The best set of bags I had were ones I made with a 'Seal a Meal' vacuum bag sealer. No air or water inside, and they lasted for years. Some rat liked them so much, they walked off with them at an informal shooting match.

Try it. Plain old beach sand works too, but you have to dry it in the oven first to get rid of the water. And the great thing is you can make them as big or as small, heavy or light as you like.

I take empty shot bags from my shotgun friends and fill them 2/3 with decapped primers or pea gravel and stitch them up. Nice sand bags for the cost of a large needle and some nylon thread. Bank bags work for larger
