I personnaly will never use a Simmons Whitetail Classic again. I just came back from the range where I have had to re-zero my 300 WM with a Whitetail for the 3rd time this year. I should have spent the money and bought the Burris or Leupold. Just my experience.

I wouldn't put either on a 300 mag. I would at least try to put in as much as I did for the gun in the scope. Buy a Leupold

Do yourself a favor and buy a smaller, better brand scope. Personally, I don't know how anyone can use those scopes with the monsterous 44-50 mm objectives. They look like they need a trash can lid for a scope cover. Try a Burris fullfield in say, 3x9 or even 1.5 -6X. either will give you more magnification than you'll ever need have stunning clarity and they're reasonably priced. Greg
