I have a half a can of 3031 powder I bought 10 years ago. I haven't reloaded since then. My son is now old enough to hunt and I'm interested in starting to reload again. I was wondering if using that powder would be a problem? It has been stored in a cool dry place all those years. Maybe for the cost and uncertinty it's not worth the chance. My main concern would be a miss fire. Any suggestions?

Ten years ain't diddly-squat for modern rifle powder stored properly. It'll shoot just fine. I've got lots of powder older than that that I shoot and it works as good as the new stuff.
