This problem could totally mess up your or my trophy hunt!
I had the cartridge extractors replaced in both of my 721 and 722 Remington rifles' but still have problems with the extractors not adequately gripping the case head rims.
These are older cases therefore the cases may be part of the problem. Some may have been loaded a bit hot but there are no ejector marks on them. I will begin examining all the cases for any apparent problems.
I need all the information possible concerning the resolution of this problem. I don't want to have to carry a rod to knock out empties or even loaded rounds that are actually not stuck but is the result of a weak extractor!
I'm wondering if these are the correct extractor replacements parts that were installed! Any good links on this issue? I ran a lot of searches but didn't find any relevant information.

I know that those extractors can be bent too tightly when inserting them in the end of the bolt. It happened to my 721, and I had to have a new one installed. I got a brand new one as a spare on an auction at gunbroker.com. I think it is the week link in those guns, but mine has been flawless since I had an expert smith work on it.
