As I sit in my office watching the rain drop fall heavily out the window on yet another day of flood warnings in central Illinois, I am saddened by all the pheasants, quail & turkey hatches that won't make it through the next few days let alone until fall. Sigh...it will be another a tough go in central Illinois for the upcoming season.

days to start of winter and still warm days and no frosts really buggered up the Red deer rut.

Hey, Jeff: How's about sending us some of that 120 inches of annual rainfall you get down there? -

It sounds like we'll have some more to spare. Latch on to the front that's coming our way forcasting more rain for us Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday! I guess we're due again though, it's been a whole 5 days without rain. It'd be nice if it were more evened out and you folks got some of it to ease your burden.
