Hey Y'all, I have a few question's for everybody in here that hunts.
1.What do you hunt? Whitetail Deer. Moose. Grouse. Pheasant. Snowshoe Hare. Chukkar.
2.Where do you hunt? Anywhere. My land, public land, private land. Wherever the prey is
. Mostly, south western Quebec.
3.Why do you hunt? Because I breathe.
4.What is the bag limit in your state on deer&turkey
They're reintroducing turkey in my area, so they've closed the season for a few years. For deer, one antlered deer per year except for special lottery, then any deer.
5.when does your deer season start,
bow Middle of September. Two weeks.
,shotgun,muzzleloader,rifle,pistol, crossbow.
Muzzle loader is last week of October, first two weeks of November. No pistol. Rifle, shotgun, crossbow, first two weeks of November.

Not alot of snow down there, huh? <No it sure aint,maybe once or twice a year if we lucky.>
Why i hunt,,,,, I hunt for food first,and i like the fact of being out in the great outdoors,it's so peaceful,quite,gives me time to think,work things out in my head that is going on in my life.And last but by no means lest,I like watching all the wildlife,listen to the birds sing,watch the squrrles play in the trees,

. And hunting to PARTICIPATE in Nature, not just passively observing it. so if i took my two deer a day limit,just for gun season i could legallly take 142 deer
Sheeeeit. We're slowly building our deer herds back up, after them being decimated in the fifties and sixties. Only now have they reached the terrain carrying capacity.
80% of the hunters in Bama dont kill more than 10-15 a year.and thay give most of that to poor family's and soup kitchens across Alabama.
Still, that's alot of deer. How big are they? Our whitetails, say, a mature three or four year old buck, is probably about 220 pounds live weight. <our deer run between 150 and 200 pounds.every now and again we get a bigger one>
