In preparation for primitive weapons season, my hunting partner and I have mounted three remote movie cameras deep in the woods, in a spot honeycombed with deer trails. The radar automatic-focus devices in the cameras will broadcast the distances and directions of the deer away from the cameras, which we will then enter into our Global Positioning System units, to determine where each deer is at any given moment, the direction it is traveling, and its approximate arrival time at either of our stands. Strategically placed along the trails leading to our stands, are battery-warmed containers of doe urine, electronically dispensed by remote control. In addition to our GPS units, our stands are equipped with television monitors, so we can judge antler size and configuration prior to the arrival of each animal, thereby allowing us to have our muskets ready well in advance. (It goes without saying, each of us has a cell phone, so we can coordinate our efforts.) Man, it's good to get back to the primitive hunting challenges faced by our trail-blazing predecessors!! Here's my question: Does anyone have a software program that will pre-measure and score the racks while the bucks are being monitored by the cameras? (All we need for now is something for primitive weapons; we don't hunt with bows, because the newest compounds are too technologically advanced, thereby rendering them unsportsmanlike.) Thanks in advance for your help. Mike W.
