There's an old saying, 'If you're not part of the solution then you're part of the problem' and this is applicable to the gun control battle in this country.

NRA has nearly three million members but that is only about two percent of the gun owners in this country. Why aren't more gun owners NRA members? Many reasons but the most prevalent is that gun owners don't believe that new gun laws will impact them, for example I was told by a former coworker, 'I don't care if they ban handguns, they won't touch my duck gun.'

Rember, the antis may be after my guns right now but they'll be going after yours soon.

actually, what most folks tell me is the reason, is that after you join, the NRA never quits hounding you for more and more money......
