Been out of bowhunting for about 10 years. Still have the bow, but no arrows. Whitetail season opens on October 1 and I want/need to practice. Where can I get some decent arrows and broadheads and practice points? Do I need a specific length or is simply a matter of going to your favorite superstore? I have forgotten what to do in 10 years and I know the technology has changed. Thanks for your help. BTW, the Smithsonian called. They want my bow!

You might want to go to http://www.eastonarchery.com and select 'Easton Online Shaft Selectors.' That can help you find arrows that are a good match your bow. I have been happy with the Easton arrows I've used.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Good advice. Especially on the practice. That's one of the main reasons I have stayed away so long is lack of practice. No way am I going to wound/maim a whitetail because I didnt have time to practice appropriately. Thanks. I am off with my bow to the local hunting/fishing store. Dave
