Does anyone know where I can find a scope mount for an M1 Garand rifle. I'm getting a garand sometime soon and I want to use it for a sitting rifle for hunting white tail deer. Any ideas or websites? Thanks

Might want to look in the shotgun news. Spare/surplus items in it for most rifles.

I have a S&K mount fifty bucks. The only thing I don't like about it is that I need to remove the iron sights. let me know if you need.

Does the S&K mount line up with the barrel or is it on the left side of the rifle like the M1-D?
