I know I may be posting this on the wrong NG but I think the two sports are related...somehow I am looking for used traps, Victor #2's or coon sized single door live traps.

sorry for the intrusion

You have the right newsgroup. Look for any trapper clubs and go to their swap meets. If you live in a very urban area then you will have to look further out in the rural parts of your state. Check with any fishing or hunting related store in small towns as they usually know of trappers in the area. You can also look for trapping clubs at any outdoor shows in your area.

And, I have seen a few traps when I have stopped by yard sales but it could take you a lifetime to collect what you want if you try to go this route.

Try eBay. I've picked up quite a few there.

But why use a business that is anti gun. This has been discussed here many times already.

Yeah, and nobody's come up with a better reason than that eBay was scared shitless about their liability insurance costs. You have the nation's trial lawyers to thank for that.

I have difficulty calling E Bay anti-gun when they list hunting equipment and hunting trips. The only reason I have seen given is that they will not list firearms themselves.

If I were in business, which is already over-regulated by government agencies, I would think twice about adding another layer. Especially if it involves that renegade outfit the BATF.

That is not to say I am unwilling to boycott businesses. I do, such as Levis, Hallmark Cards and certain animal right figures from Hollywood all of whose products I once enjoyed. I do have to see a more pro-active leap such as monetary or public support of those movements.
