I recently acquired 20 + pounds of Accurate Arms 1680 powder. I've been using it in my cast bullet loads for 7TCU and 280 Rem. I really like the way it meters through my 550, much better the IMR 4198 and 4895 I'd been using and the results of the load are giving me about 1 inch groups at 150 meters and enough energy to know down the 200 meter rams with authority.
With hunting season coming I've been thinking about using it in my 243 Win but can't find a starting load in any of my reloading books (AA, Sierra 5, Lyman 48). I would like to use the Sierra 100 gr SMP prohunter or the 100 SPBT gameking bullet. The closet powder to it's burning characteristics is IMR 3031 in that BW. I was able to find one in 80 gr HP using IMR4198.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Accurate 1680 is too fast for the .243. I get excellent results with IMR 4831, Rem. cases, WLR primers and Nosler 100gr. Partition bullets. Don't exceed the middle of the load range in the Nosler Book. This bullet shoots right through whitetails and collapses both lungs for quick kills.
