In my zeal to bring this to the attention of as many gun owners as possible I my have been off topic on this news group. If so you might consider putting Levi's on your pro HCI list. I can't check to see if they already are because that web page is down and has been down along time. http://www.concentric.net/~peatea56/antibus.shtml

Levi's Corp. is providing financial support to yet another group advocating the abolishment of our 2nd amendment rights. I would guess that almost anyone reading this has some Levi product in their household. Do you want your dollars going to take away your 2nd Amendment rights? That is what they are doing, right now!!

Go to: http://www.levismusic.com Then click on the 'PAX Petition'

I especially encourage anyone under 30yrs. old to E-mail Levi's! It is your age group that they are directly targeting! Let them know how those of your generation, that do not identify with the 'Gen-X' attitude feel about this attack by Levi's on YOUR future and YOUR rights!

I think that anyone who tries to take away our right to posess and use firearms, should be rebuked by a mass of pro-hunters!

Anheuser-Busch was one of the few companies to SUPPORT the passage of 'Shall-Issue' CCW in Missouri (which unfortunately failed). Hardly the act of an anti-gun company. The Busch family also has a strong hunting and conservation tradition.

I wear Levi's and have worn only Levi's for the past 40 years. If this is true, Wranglers are good. Budweiser used to be good.

From what I have reseched so far, I was wrong or misslead about Busweiser/Bucsh.. they aeem suport gun right.. now Levi Jeans,... they shoud have died with Adolf hitler and Josof Stalin's idea of 'people don't have rights'.. do the pro-gun law ainto-gun groups great each other with 'hail hitler' and a nazi salute... Don't mean to put down Germans.. I'm American, German blood, have had Nazi relitives in WWII, but even they did not like hitler/Stalin and thier ideas. why don't the anti-gun people move to China.

Guinness is much better than Budweiser as are a lot of beers, but I really have seen nothing that Budweiser has done that would disserve a boycott. Hell they supported the effort to make Missouri a 'Shall-Issue' state. Lets not kill our own.

Wranglers are almost as durable as Levi's so it really isn't that great a loss. Just make sure you tell them about it.

In addition to Levi's, and Budweiser, you can also add Pepsi and its subsidiaries to the anti-gun movement.

If you can believe Budweiser's web site, they support a bunch of pro- hunting organizations. http://www.budweiser.com/outdoors/outdoorindex.html

Too bad I just bought three pair a year ago. Well, next time I'll go for Wranglers.

I'll tell you one thing, I'm still lookin' for a good denim jacket. I bought a Levi about 10 years ago and didn't like the fit. I'm 5' 10' 160 lbs and have a small beer gut. I gave the jacket away. It kept pulling up in the back even when not buttoned. Seemed ballooned out at the midsection and too tight around the waist. Seems like a straighter cut would be better.

Would a Wrangler be better?

Levis is the most anti-God, anti-American, anti-2nd, anti-Boyscout group in this country. I haven't worn their clothes in ten years. My family will not wear their clothes. It boggles my mind that so many people wear Levi rags.
