Does anyone have any suggestions about some good pig hunts in the Texas? I would like to organize a few guys from work to drive to Texas and get a few days of hunting. Any suggestions welcome. Also, when would be a good time to go?

Check the Texas Park and Wildlife Hunting WebPages they have public hunts that are pretty good for Hog Hunting. But you risk not getting picked for the hunt! Oh buy the way the Hunts start in Jan-March

Look at http://www.huntseek.net . We have many listings of guides and outfitters doing hog hunts in texas.

Check out the Stanfields in Haskell county in the panhandle. Their site is at www.stanfieldhunting.com. I have not tried the hog hunting but I know there are a lot in the area and they constantly put out bait. They have both guided and un-guided hunts available and provide meals. I have gone goose hunting with them and were real pleased with the staff and the service.

You might want to check out the Texas Hunting & Fishing Network at www.texashuntfish.com. We have some guides with some great hog hunting. Hope you enjoy, Allen Shannon
