Iam trying to shoot 400 yards with my savage 270. at 300 yards iam 4 in low. At 400 yards iam off the target 16 in low. what can i do? I still want to be accurate at 100 yards.

You are doing very well if consistant shot placement at that range; Just practice a little hold over with shooting sticks or bi-pod.

you didnt say what grain bullet youre using, if 150 gr then switch to 130 gr over 300 yds , 150 gr under 300yds. the heavier bollet drops faster
