Did anyone catch the hunting show on Nat. Geo. TV Monday nite? It will be repeated Saturday at 4.00pm in NY region. Much food for thought here. Try to catch it if you missed it.

Tried to watch it, but it was broadcast opposite 'Quincy, M.E.'. 'Naturally', commercial breaks on both channels were 'synchronized' so that one could not watch both concurrently.

I'll set the VCR to record it at 3:00 PM Central time. Bits and pieces I was able to catch during 'Quincy' breaks were less than impressive....

It was disappointing... I had hoped for more

they highlighted some very rare minority aspects of the topic. In reality, 95% of hunters are normal middle class folks who CAN afford to buy their food but prefer to hunt, but who cannot afford to hunt africa. and anti-hunting hate-mongers are only a tiny vocal minority, yet they highlighted a two hate-mongers, one near-subsistance hunter, a game warden on a depredation-kill and a rich trophy hunter.

Almost no mention of the wildlife management aspects, and not much of hte joy and pleasure at the hobby/sport we enjoy.

Yea, I saw that show. Produced by CBS I think. Lousy show not worth watching. Made by a bunch of Tree Huggers trying to make hunters look like a bunch of blood thirsty, unthinking, uncaring killers of the Bamby's of the world.
