Evening all!

I hope someone out there will be able to help me. I'm trying to determine the value of a Winchester .30-06 with Weaver 4X scope, good condition. Anyone know of a blue book for hunting rifles?

P.S. Rifle for sale !!

Yep, there is a blue book of gun values...but Winchester hunting rifle doesn't cut it for a description. What is the model number, serial number......and it's actual condition. Good, in gun terms, would be around 60% of the bluing remaining....is your rifle only 'good'?

When you give a serial number to the public, always leave out the last 2 digits, for example T12345xx, one reason being an individual may turn in to his local police department a report his rifle stolen, using your serial number, and then report that he has seen on the Internet someone trying to sell his rifle...just something to think about. The reason we need the number to place a value on it is because we need to know if the piece is a pre-64 or post-64 model.

You will have to provide more info, model, condition of wood, meta,l bore etc., length of bbl., checkering and so on before anyone can gve you a ballpark figure as to your guns worth. LMK what you have via e-mail.

Thanks

<< Winchester .30-06 with Weaver 4X scope, good condition. Anyone know of a blue book for hunting rifles? >> Tom, You would have to give the model number and age to be able to put a price on it. I would GUESS it may be a model 70 and they go for 350-600 depending on some features. Doug E-mail me and I will try to help, it the price is right I may buy it!

Tom, to find the value of your Winchester, you might try:
http://online.bluebook.com/orcol.asp?WCI=SUBRQ&WCU=OR:Rhttp://www.blu... om/OR0OR:H1OR:T0OR1OR:E18940OR:B999OR6

Also, any pawnshop that deals in guns will have a copy of the Orion Bluebook for guns and will probably be willing to look it up for you.
