Hunting in PA

I live near the PA line in Binghamton New York. Is there any PA state hunting lands within a hour drive that I could hunt ? I would like to try and get a hunting lic for this coming year. Please let me know the town and zip code the state land is in, so I can map it out.

Get an official Pennsylvania Dept of Transportaion (penndot) map, available at most rest areas, or from Harrisburg. They show all the state game lands on them. There's a big one just SE of Great Bend that you should be able to get to in less than half an hour. A lot of other ones too.

Who keeps track of the Zip code where they hunt? Are you going to send the deer invitations? Your best bet is to visit your local sporting goods stores and the local Sportsmans Club. Until you do those, try here: http://www.pgc.state.pa.us/

do your homework, exercise a lot, and scout public land and you should get by fairly cheap.

some eastern states seem cheaper than west or Canada.
