I have a buck antelope license for NW Colorado....on a ranch that allows _VERY_ few bucks to be harvested.
I want to be able to recognize a better than average buck. Is there a URL that would be informative to me? I have killed a lot of doe antelope over the years, both in Colorado, and in Wyoming, but I've never been interested in bucks at all........until I got this chance.
I don't want to squander this chance on a scrawny or average buck. There must be some websites that will help me sort thru the animals, and enable me to recognize a trophy.
Thanks folks......... Lee Carkenord

Good luck with your hunt. Trophy Pronghorn are generally considered to be anything over 12'. Mine is 14' and on the wall in the other room. He's a three point as well (yep - small horn on his nose)
A good way to estimate horns on pronghorn is to know that their ears are approximately 6' tall. Long prongs, heavy bases are nice to have as well.
Hope that helps
