Ted Nugent, on his show, 'Spirit of the Wild,'

'If the gun doesn't fit the shooter right, you can't hit anything. Then you will become discouraged and you'll go bowling, and then, of course, your life is over.'

Dalene Barnes ****************************************** 'And you shall teach them (God's commands) diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.' Deut. 6:7

But then, if it weren't for bowlers we would not have used bowling pins to use for our 'Pin Shoots'. There is a little justice in the world afterall.

Yep, watched that episode last night. I've seen it before, but I just have to watch the 'Nuge'. That is one of my favorite Nuge musings.

Thanks to Ted _and_ Darlene. Sometimes this world just *needs* a good dose of common sense.

Am I the only one that read that, and did a quick flash to a fat, smarmy bastard in a ball cap, what's-his-name, Micheal 'Moore-or-less-the-truth'?

Bowling has always been lame (unless firearms are involved) but now it's tainted, too .

Now GOLF, there's a game that will end your life .

Ted said (with no R in his name)

Dalene (with an amazing lack of 'R' in her name) forwarded;

Bill (with no R in his name either...) said.....

So I'm left wondering who Bill was actually talking about.....??

Whoops. My bad, Dalene. Maybe, just for a moment, I was influenced by memory of a beautifull girl named Da-r-lene I dated when I was ~17yo.

I don't see how. The golf clubs break far too quickly (or go for a swim).

Of course, it was nice when I rode in the cart and got my dog excerise by running beside us (tossing in a training bumper into the water hazards). Until the course nazi's chased us off that is...

At your age that's not a memory, it's a fantasy.

(sorry, I just couldn't help myself)

I graciously accept your apology and explanation about my name.

Now, about your grammar....... LOL

Dalene

<lecture>

(p.s. - In case anyone under the age of 25 is wondering.....bad is not a noun and should not be used as such. 'My mistake,' or 'My error,' would save the lecture; even using bad correctly (as an adjective!), as in, 'I made a BAD mistake,' would be palatable.)
