help lost .222 bolt

Is there anyone with a bolt for a bruno fox model 2 ..222 as I have tragically lost mine .

What you have left is called a piece of pipe. You should send it back to Finland or Brazil and ask them to bury it in it's native soil. Carve a bolt out of a piece of soap, and try to cash in on one of those gun buying programs that get guns off the streets. $50.00 would be a windfall for a piece of pipe!

There must be a 'black hole' out there that eats .222 rifle bolts. My grandson recently 'lost' the bolt of a fine old L47 Sako .222 that I passed on to him to be his first centerfire rifle. Bill Van Houten (USA Ret) 'No matter how hard you try, you can't throw a potato chip very far.'

I doubt Finn Aagaard would agree with you. He coveted his brother-in-laws Brno (7x57) for many years before he got it. It left Kenya with him to its new home in Texas.

It is common in Europe and viewed much as we view Winchester, Remington, Ruger and Savage. Good rifles at a moderate price. The Brno built Model 98 Mausers are considered some of the best of the 98s.

As I viewed my new son-in-laws Brno during our December deer hunt I was again reminded that they are good workman like rifles. I would proudly carry it in the company of any of the above brands.
