The Pa. Game commission voted 4-3 to go with the trophy state rules put forth by Gary Alt. You will have to have 3 points or more on one antler in the north east and 4 or moreon one anler in some western counties. You big buck boys must be cheering! It is supposed to save 90,000 bucks for next year. Think it will work?

I don't think it will work as Hunters 12 to 16 will be able to shoot the little bucks. They are under the old rules.Their parents will shoot a buck and put the kids tag on it if it is small. Also six counties will be under the old rules, Alleghany, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia. People with disabilities will be able to shoot the little bucks as will active duty military personnel. 30% more doe licences will be issued. Poor button bucks! I think the new regulations will just shift the buck kill to other people as only one in 16 or there abouts gets a buck

amen, lots of wives and kids were tagging deer when the limit was just one about 16 years ago where I lived in rural western PA, as always, the PGC stops just short of doing what is right based on the science
