Does this 'Canada Only' business have anything to do with that great new beer ad you guys are showing up north?

It is cool, isn't it? But Molson won't run the ad on tv in Quebec, and they don't sell Molson 'Canadian' brand beer here, either...

And remember that cool Coke commercial last winter, with the little girl that came out on the ice and sang 'Oh Canada'? In the Quebec version, it ends with the other kids inviting her to play... no anthem.

I think it fine the beer ad uncovered a nationalist with an implicit resentment of your '800 pound gorilla' to the south. But what has been going on in Quebec for these many years is scary, although I understand it is finally calming down. A few years back, no more than 10 miles outside of Montreal, I stopped to ask for directions in english and before it was over had been surrounded by several quietly angry men while the waitress checked my driver's license to confirm I was an American. Had I been an english speaking Canadian I suspect I would have been killed or seriously injured...these nuts were not playing. I think they had weeks earlier killed a member of the Quebec parliament...life was interesting for a few minutes.
