June in Maine is really a great time for fishing the weather is just fine and the spring is full of life so the rivers are heavy with fish.

Hunting and fishing can appeal to the same people but many people I know are seeing too many differences between them. I suppose that fishing can seem at times to be much more passive than hunting and based more on waiting than hunting which is seen as a more “active” activity. This is not necessarily the case as both hunting and fishing require expertise and calmness as the difference between the fisherman that returns home with nothing or almost nothing to the one that returns home with a nice catch is usually the fact that the latter knows exactly what he’s doing.

It takes character and experience to be either a good hunter or a good fisherman, sure novice can enjoy both these activities but a real fisherman and a real hunter would usually respect each other for who they are.
