Fighting The PR Battle

I’ve somehow missed this story until now but maybe it is the right timing after all.
I’m thinking about the situation of the couple that suffered damages to their property from the deers, the process of checking alternatives until the hunting option was chosen and then the all drama of other neighbours involving celebrities and PETA to call the hunting off.
The situation of the overpopulation of the deer won’t go away because people view hunting as cruel and inhuman the only thing that would happen is that in some time they would ask for the hunting themselves as a last resort.
I know that the hunters community are losing the PR battle but it doesn’t have to be this way. There are many intelligent people among us that can get through to people by explaining that unsupervised increase of the deer population near the suburbs and the cities would lead to an unbearable conditions.
I know from personal experience that even the most pro animal advocates would call the exterminator when they’ll have a real problem at home with pests as they can’t really talk to them and convince them that living in the wild is a better option.
