Hello,
Caving is a hobby of mine and I'm interested in finding new caves. Has anyone spotted any caves while hunting? This includes pits in the ground. (vertical caves) If you think you've spotted a cave while hunting I'd love to hear about it. I'm mostly interested in caves in the Eastern US. Especially VA and WV but please respond no matter where you saw one. I don't read this group much so please respond via e-mail. Hunters cover a lot of territory so I'm sure someone reading this can help.

Steve;
As a certified Mine Examiner, I want to encourage you to be careful about any 'caves' you find that may be old, abandoned mines.
The decomposition of some things, coupled with a lack of ventilation can lead to a presence of deadly gases.
Again, be careful.
