I am new to the area in southern califorina. I would like to know of a place 100 miles or so to hunt from the rancho cucamunga area any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

'Traditional' areas in my book have been Blythe (a little over your 100 mile limit) and the Imperial Valley areas around Brawley, Calexico and Niland. Blythe hasn't been that great the last few years, what with some changes in the crop rotations, weather, and posting of fields on 8/31 as mentioned in your other post.

You might give the Barstow area a try. Along the mojave river bed that follows old route 66 between victorville and barstow.
