Coyotes??

I want to know if there is any way to bait for Coyotes, I keep seeing this big black 1 and im gonna reach out and touch him with my muzzleloader next time. Can i stake down some meat or use a rabbit in distress tape ? Ive seen him 2 mornings in a row but i cant get him to stay put for a good shot.

In my neck of the woods we do a number of different things....you could use a red fox and rabbit distress....coyotes hate fox and the rabbit squealing is an added bonus....also some people pick up dead deer along the highway and use that as bait...could be illegal...but it works....also try a turkey call...maybe use a turkey decoy...use the call of a young turkey...maybe a kee kee...a coyote will pounce on a young lost turkey.

no matter what you try he won't stay still for long. so when he come in you better be ready for the shat and try to have your gun somewhat up before he comes or as soon as you try bringing your gun up he will be gone twice as fast as he came in
