I have a mossberg 500 that I would love to have with a nice camo finish. I know I have come across some websites that perform the finishing similar to the way manufacturers do it these days but for the life of me I just can't find any.

Does anyone have any links or suggestions? I don't like socks or tapes, any stickers, etc?

Patrick try www.havlinsales.com They are the distributor for the Mossberg Museum. They provide quick, friendly service. I broke the original wood butt stock on my Mossberg 500. ( I was lowering it from the treestand and the knot let loose.) It pays to unload! Anyways, I bought a replacement butt stock AND forearm stock for about $45. The replacements were synthetic and camo. Could not find them anywhere else for less than $130.

At the risk of sounding 'practical,' get some flat spray paint in olive green and brown. If you apply it so as to break up the straight lines it will be effective camouflage. Apply it lightly.

If, after all, you don't like what you've done to your gun all you need is a few paper towels and some lacquer thinner.
