I'm looking for any reviews, tests, etc. or anyone's experience with this rifle. I saw it on the website www.eaacorp.com/. It was also on the Feb 2002 issue of Sports Afield magazine on pg 40.

Is this rifle any good?

I'm interested in the mauser action in cal 30.06. I'm not too keen on synthetic stocks. How can I convert to a custom conventional wood stock?

Jim,

I note that EAA offers just the barreled action so why waste money buying a plastic stock you plan to throw away. I'd jot a note to EAA; maybe they know where you can find a wood handle for it. Good hunting!
