Are You Into The Outdoor Channel?

Do you enjoy watching other people hunt on TV?

Well, it’s late and I’m flipping through the tv dial and it’s landed on the Outdoor Channel. Right now the show is called the American Rifleman and before that it was something called Guns and Ammo. Previously before these two was some other gun show. These shows are clearly the porn of gun lovers.

The bloger O’Brien’s Briar that wrote this criticizes the TV shows on hunting on the outdoor channel since he feels the quality of the shows is really low. Although he likes shows about hunting and fishing he claims the channel does a very lousy job with this programs.

The outdoor channel has changes its logo to a new one:

A post about names comments on the new logo as misrepresenting the channel’s programs.

the programming is geared towards mainly hunting and fishing… it shows absolutely no mountaineering shows.

If you like watching programs about hunting and fishing I suppose the new logo won’t make any difference and as for the quality of the programs maybe change is on his way.
