I was in KMart today, and they were closing out .22 shorts for 50 cents a box. I bought 20 boxes of Remington shorts, and they still had stacks left. I don't know if it was just my local KMart, or all of them that are closing out the .22 shorts, but you might want to check it out. A penny a round is 'good old days' pricing, even if they are just shorts.
I also picked up two boxes of 2.75' Winchester Drylock 1.25 oz. #2 steel for $10, not such a great deal, but still a pretty good price for a premium round.
I went in to buy a new tent. They had the Coleman Ascension 3 person dome tent on sale for $37. It has a full rain fly, so I hope it is a little more water tight than my old cabin tent.
