I want to purchase Leupold QR bases for my T/C Encore, but I don't understand the relative merits of the two piece versus the one piece bases. Can anyone help me to understand which would be best?

Greg, Last I read a catalog listing it the Leupold QRS T/C Encore base only comes in a one piece model. This makes sense as the mounting holes are only a couple inches apart from first to fourth. On bolt action rifles two piece bases can be lighter and allow your fingers a little extra room when filling the magazine. Good hunting!
